Julia Brennan, M.A., Ph.D.
Archaeologist Lead and Environmental Scientist
Julia Brenan is an Archaeologist and Environmental Scientist with a PhD and Master’s in Archaeology. Her work focuses on the intersection of land use, contamination, and cultural landscapes, with field experience in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, Turkey, and the Caribbean.
She has collaborated with Indigenous governments, municipalities, military agencies, and nonprofits to investigate legacy sites and support sustainable land use planning. At Hive Engineering, Julia is responsible for project design, fieldwork, and reporting, bringing a unique ability to integrate environmental science with cultural insight and stakeholder priorities.
